About Matt Phillips
Crafting Digital Experiences, Capturing Life's Moments, and Embracing Creativity
Welcome to Matt Phillips’ digital sanctuary, where passion meets pixels. I’m Matt Phillips, a seasoned web designer, search engine optimisation enthusiast, photographer, and occasional artist based in the town of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
For over two decades, I’ve been exploring the ever-evolving landscape of web design. It’s been a labour of love, a professional pursuit, and a canvas for my creativity. In the past, I’ve had the privilege of crafting websites for local charities, including Bucks Mind and Lindengate. My work extends to the art world as well, collaborating with the talented contemporary artist, Tony Ashton, to bring his vision to life in the digital realm.
My journey in the realm of photography has seen me capture the beauty of nature in its purest form. I’m proud to have won national awards for my nature photography, an art form that allows me to connect with the world’s raw and unspoiled beauty. In addition to this, I’ve been recognised as a runner-up for my photographs of London at night. My lens has also ventured far from home, capturing moments in the tranquil Lake District of Cumbria, England, and the breathtaking landscapes of the Pyrenees in France.
But my journey isn’t just about the art and the craft; it’s also about resilience. Living with mental illness, my creative endeavours have been my sanctuary, a refuge for my thoughts, and a channel for my emotions. It’s given me a unique perspective on life and creativity, which I’ve channelled into my work.
This portfolio is more than just a showcase of my skills; it’s a testament to the enduring spirit that thrives within me. It’s a testament to the power of creativity and the beauty that can be found in every moment.
Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you find inspiration, beauty, and a little piece of my soul in every click. If you’d like to collaborate or simply say hello, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
