Matt Phillips' Acrylic Art

Welcome to my acrylic art gallery. Here you’ll find the small body of work I’ve created so far, each piece inspired by places, wildlife, and scenes that mean something to me.

Among them are an old Romany caravan (vardo) beside a woodland stream, a vivid kingfisher, the striking chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters, a curious puffin, and a sweeping Lake District landscape.

I enjoy working with acrylics for their colour and versatility, which allow me to capture both fine detail and bold contrasts. Each painting has been an exploration of atmosphere, light, and texture, and together they reflect my interest in the natural world and the landscapes of the UK.

This gallery is a snapshot of where I am on my journey with acrylics, and I hope you enjoy exploring it as much as I’ve enjoyed creating these pieces.
