A Carpet of Bluebells at Dockey Wood - Landscape Photo

This photograph was taken in Dockey Wood at Ashridge, on the Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire border — a place that comes alive each spring with a stunning carpet of bluebells. The woodland floor is transformed into a sea of vibrant purple and blue hues, framed by tall trees filtering soft sunlight through fresh green leaves.

Standing there with my camera, I was struck by the calm and colour of the scene — the kind of moment that feels almost otherworldly. I wanted to capture that peaceful atmosphere and the depth of colour that makes Dockey Wood one of the most photographed bluebell woods in the area.
