Loweswater Landscape II

This photograph was taken on a bright, sunny day at Loweswater in the Lake District, Cumbria. In the foreground, a lush green field leads the eye toward the rippling surface of Loweswater itself, framed by partially forested mountains in the distance.

Loweswater is one of the quieter lakes in the north-western Lake District, and that peaceful atmosphere is exactly what I wanted to capture here. The scene felt timeless and unspoiled, with the gentle contrast between sky, water, and land offering a real sense of calm.

For me, this image reflects the tranquil beauty that defines the Lake District — natural, balanced, and restorative.
