Much of my wildlife photography begins close to home in Buckinghamshire, where I’ve spent countless hours walking with a camera, waiting for those fleeting encounters that bring nature to life. Whether it’s swans on local lakes, Canada geese honking, or the delicate details of insects and butterflies, these photographs are windows into the everyday beauty of British wildlife.

Wildlife Beyond the Local Landscape

While Buckinghamshire has always been at the heart of my work, I also travel for inspiration. The Lake District has provided countless opportunities to capture wildlife against dramatic backdrops of mountains and water. Further afield, I’ve photographed nature along the Dorset coast and, across the Channel, in the French Pyrenees — where the wild landscapes offer encounters with species in their natural European habitats.
